A push-button (also spelled pushbutton) or simply button is a simple switch mechanism to control some aspect of a machine or a process. Buttons are typically made out of hard material, usually plastic or metal. The surface is usually flat or shaped to accommodate the human finger or hand, so as to be easily depressed or pushed. Buttons are most often biased switches, although many un-biased buttons (due to their physical nature) still require a spring to return to their un-pushed state.

A terminal is an electrical connector acting as the reusable interface to a conductor and creating a point where external circuits can be connected. A terminal may simply be the end of a wire or it may be fitted with a connector or fastener. Most electrical connectors have a plug that connects to a socket. The connection may be removable, require a tool for assembly and removal, or serve as a permanent electrical joint between two points. An terminal adapter can be used to join dissimilar connectors.

In 1944, the Salvajor Company introduced the first food waste scrapping system to the foodservice industry. It was quickly accepted and soon found its way into the nation’s leading restaurants and hotels; as well as hospitals, cafeterias, schools, factories, universities and correctional institutions. Today, Salvajor manufactures dish scrapping solutions for any size business, including: disposers and disposer controls; disposer based scrapping systems; and food waste Collector systems.
