A printed circuit board (PCB or computer) mechanically supports and electrically connects electrical or electronic components. Components are generally soldered onto the PCB to both electrically connect and mechanically fasten them to it.

A control is a switch or other device by which a machine is regulated. An electro-mechanical control typically consists of multiple relays, timers, and/or counters wired together on an enclosure panel. Electro-mechanical control is also referred to simply as "Relay Control", a more accurate term, since solid state electronic relays, timers, and counters are standard components. Contactors, motor and compressor starters, valves, thermostats, and other output devices are used to turn on/off motors, indicator lights, heating elements, and other components used in the equipment.

A roller refers to a wheel or a revolving cylinder over or on which something is moved or which is used to press, shape, spread, or smooth something in a rolling motion. Machines employing conveyor systems often utilize rollers as do drawers, cabinets, and sliding doors.
