CONNECTOR ELBOW EXHAUST

Most connectors have a gender i.e. the male component, called a plug, connects to the female component, or socket. A connection may be removable (as for portable equipment), require a tool for assembly and removal, or serve as a permanent joint between two points. An adapter can be used to join dissimilar connectors. Connectors are commonly used in plumbing and electromechanical assemblies.

An elbow is installed between two lengths of pipe (or tubing) to allow a change of direction, usually a 90° or 45° angle; 22.5° elbows are also available. The ends may be machined for butt welding, threaded (usually female), or socketed. When the ends differ in size, it is known as a reducing (or reducer) elbow.

An exhaust or exhaust system is used for venting gases from cooking equipment. The exhaust is part of a system designed to vent hot gases, steam and smoke from a stove, oven or boiler to the exterior or into a supplemental vented hood . An exhaust my be vertical or channeled, ensuring that hot gases flow smoothly by drawing air into and out of the combustion system through convection, or they may be fan forced.
