FAN; 208V SMALL AXIAL
Axial fans are commonly found in various kinds of foodservice equipment. Named for the direction of the airflow they create, blades rotating around an axis draw air in parallel to that axis and force air out in the same direction. They create a large volume of low pressure airflow and require onlya low power input for operation.
Compact axial fans are equipment-cooling fans with blades that circulate air to regulate temperatures in machinery and equipment enclosures. They can either push hot air out of an enclosure or pull cooler outside air into the enclosure. These fans have a motor that rotates the fan blades to create airflow and a housing that can mount into existing componentry.
Fans are used across a wide variety of restaurant equipment to create airflow and dissipate heat. A fan consists of a rotating arrangement of vanes or blades which act upon the air. The rotating assembly of blades and hub is known as an impeller, rotor, or runner. Usually, it is contained within some form of housing or case. This may direct the airflow or increase safety by preventing objects from contacting the fan blades.
