A drain is a channel, conduit, or pipe designed to carry away or channel superflous liquids for disposal or reclamation. A drain assembly is one or more components of a larger mechanism that facilitates as a drain. A drain assembly component may be a pipe, stopper, pan, basket, valve, filter, plug, hose etc.
A pan is any device used as a container or a collector. A pan may refer to a shallow cooking implement used on a burner or in an oven or it may refer to a similar collecting implement used to capture water, condensation, grease, shortening, and other drainage. A pan may also be used to contain processed food items such as meat, fruit and vegetables, and crumbs as they exit a mincer, slicer, or dicer.
A stud is a threaded rod is a relatively long rod that is threaded on both ends; the thread may extend along the complete length of the rod. They are designed to be used under tension. Threaded rods in bar stock form are often called "all-thread".
A well pan is used in commercial foodservice equipment for hot and cold food holding. The pans may be heated simply by pouring hot water into the equipment well or similarly cooled by using ice. The pan is then immersed in the water or ice. More complex wells may be heated with gas or electric components or they may contain an internal refrigeration system.
