SAFETY SWITCH/TUBE ASSEMBLY
SKU: FEDSA-1880
In electrical engineering, a switch is an electrical component that can disconnect or connect the conducting path in an electrical circuit, interrupting the electric current or diverting it from one conductor to another. Switches of all types are used in the operation of restaurant equipment. The most common type of switch is an electro-mechanical device consisting of one or more sets of movable electrical contacts connected to external circuits. When a pair of contacts is touching, current can pass between them, while when the contacts are separated no current can flow.
A tube (tubular section, tubing, or hollow cylinder) usually but not necessarily of circular cross-section, used mainly to convey substances which can flow liquids and gases (fluids), slurries, powders and masses of small solids. Plastic tubing is widely used for its light weight, chemical resistant, non-corrosive properties, and ease of making connections. A tube may also reference a florescent light bulb or a housing of lamps or LEDs.
Federal Industries manufactures hot, frozen, refrigerated, and non-refrigerated, full service and self-serve display cases, showcases, merchandisers and cabinets for bakery, deli, candy, cafeteria, food service, convenience stores and supermarkets.
